After staying in Bangkok for three wonderful days, it’s time for us to say goodbye to this beautiful city. Our Thai Airways’ Flight TG 656 would be taking us to our next destination - Seoul.
In the New Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Thai Airways has dedicated a separate check-in area for international First Class (Royal First) and Business Class (Royal Silk) passengers. A FAST TRACK area has also been set up so that both First Class and Business Class passengers can go through Immigrations quickly.

As soon as we got through the Immigrations, we headed to the Royal Silk Lounge to relax.

Before we left for our trip, a Thai friend had warned us that there would be some walking from the lounge to the gate. We took his advise and left the lounge early, then we took a L~O~N~G walk to our gate.

During the boarding process, we encountered a very unpleasant situation with the gate agents. Even though it was the check-in agent’s faults, but their attitude and how they handled the situation made us look and feel very stupid. At first, I was just a bit upset about the check-in agent’s careless mistakes, and now because of gate agents' actions, I was really furious!

Finally, the gate agents resolved the problems and we (especially I) left the gate and got on the shuttle bus with angers, disappointment and bad impression about Thai Airways’ ground agents.

After riding on the shuttle bus for about a minute or two, the bus stopped right next to our aircraft, an A330-300.

On Thai Airways A330-300, there are 42 recliner seats with 50 inches pitch in the Royal Silk Class cabin. Each seat is equipped with a 6.5-inch personal video screen. The seat is very comfortable and is easy to adjust.

The cabin crew on this flight was pleasant, professional and courteous. Even though it was a red-eye flight, the crew often walked through the cabin to check on passengers.
